From April 29 to May 2, Executive Director of Caucasus Nature Fund Elizabeth Messud was on a regular working visit to Armenia. During her visit, she was in the “Khor Virap” state sanctuary, where was presented with the restoration works of the wetland ecosystem, and in the Garni district of the “Khosrov Forest” state reserve, to learn about the problems and solution options for the trails leading to Vahagn and Astghik waterfalls. Issues related to the works and conservation in the protected areas were also discussed.
