The Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF), a charitable foundation established under the German legislation in 2007 that has been assisting protected areas in Georgia since 2009, is launching a project to strengthen and support the Akhmeta Municipality – Tusheti Protected Landscape Administration.
The grant program is implemented within the framework of the Financial Cooperation between the governments of Germany and Georgia, with funding support provided by the German Government through the BMZ and KfW.
The three-year grant agreement was signed between the parties in Telavi, Kakheti on March 18, 2022. Grant amount 200,000 EUR are allocated to co-finance the current expenses of the Tusheti Protected Landscape Administration and the operational plan in 2022 – 2024.

- Mayor of Akhmeta Municipality – Mr. Alex Pitskhelauri
- Director of the Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF) – Mr. Tobias Muenchmeyer
- Director of Tusheti Protected Landscape Administration – Mr. Lado Kakhoidze
