Pshav-Khevsureti Protected Areas
Pshav-Khevsureti Protected Areas was established in 2014 and encompasses Pshav-Khevsureti National Park, Roshka Natural Monument, and Asa Managed Nature Reserve. Located near Georgia’s border with Russia, it is accessible from neighboring Tusheti and Kazbegi Protected Areas (PAs) via stunning paths through mountains of magic. Here, you can witness deep riverbeds and their numerous tributaries which divide the mountain ranges and peaks with their cascades. Popular amongst eco-tourists and nature lovers in general, Pshav (for brevity) hosts 212 species endemic to the Caucasus, and the main Greater Caucasus watershed runs alongside this important PA.
