Vashlovani is Georgia’s most diverse landscape. Located on Georgia’s South-eastern edgethe park’s 35 067 ha. transition from a semi-desert landscape characterized by clay karsts into mixed arid forests, juniper groves, and cistus plants.The towering limestone cliffs and arid valleys – are home to rich bird life. Imperial eagle, griffon, vulture and buzzards and rare reptiles and mammals, including porcupine, lynx, wolf, and wild boar, there are 16 species of fish in the river Alazani.
