Thomas is Head of Division for Energy and Natural Resources in the Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia Department of KfW Development Bank, Germany. Prior to this position Thomas worked as Office Director for the KfW Office in Ramallah, Palestinian Territories, and in several other positions in the KfW headquarters responsible for development projects in Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. Thomas holds a Master of Economics (Development Economics) from the London School of Economics (LSE) and an Economics Diploma from Humboldt University in Berlin. He is married with three children and lives in Frankfurt.
