Ted Jonas

A US-trained and educated lawyer licensed in Washington DC, Ted brings 40 years of relevant experience to CNF’s management structure.

In addition to over 30 years of private law practice experience, including 10 years as DLA Piper’s managing partner in Tbilisi, Ted has worked in the U.S. non-profit, federal legislative and judicial sectors. Along with his years of service as an Advisory Board and Supervisory Board member at CNF, Ted has served in leadership roles on environmental defense campaigns, economic empowerment of minorities, and peace-building. He has served for several years as well on the boards of Georgian corporations.

Ted is a US citizen who speaks Georgian and has lived in Tbilisi for many years. He received his B.A. degree in History from Cornell in 1984 and his J.D. from Cornell Law School, cum laude, in 1991.
