Hanna Loikkanen

Hanna Loikkanen is an experienced investment professional specialising in emerging markets and impact investing. She currently serves as Chief Investment Officer at Finnfund, a Finnish development finance institution investing in sustainable businesses across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Hanna has held several non-executive board positions in various listed companies, including Bank of Georgia Group Plc, Eastnine AB, and VEF AB.

In addition to her executive and board roles, Hanna is deeply committed to pro-bono activities that drive positive change. Besides her role at Caucasus Nature Fund, she is an active member of Women’s Bank Finland, a charity that supports women in the least developed countries.

Hanna is an economics graduate from Aalto University, Helsinki, and after years of living abroad,b she now resides in Helsinki, where she lives with her two boys and a brown Labrador.
