Caucasus Nature Fund Continues Decade-Long Support: Grant Agreements Signed for Six Protected Areas Administrations with the Agency of Protected Areas
Continuing their unwavering commitment to Georgia’s conservation endeavors, Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF) has once again joined forces with the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture and the Agency of Protected Areas. On March 7 2024, in a testament to their decade-long partnership, six Grant Agreements with a value of more than two million Euros were signed, affirming CNF’s ongoing technical and financial support for the Protected Areas of Georgia. CNF thereby reinforces its dedication to preserving Georgia’s diverse ecosystems and rich biodiversity.
Notably, in addition to financial support, the Grant Agreement extends to cover the salaries of Protected Areas staff and rangers. This comprehensive approach underscores the holistic strategy employed to ensure effective conservation management.
As we mark another milestone in our collaborative efforts, we celebrate fifteen years of partnership dedicated to sustainable environmental stewardship. CNF’s enduring support remains steadfast in the mission to protect and preserve Georgia’s natural heritage for generations to come.
