WHO WE ARE

Started in 2008, CNF is a conservation trust fund which is proven to be the most effective tool for protecting nature and wilderness areas, particularly in developing countries.  

CNF provides grants to protected areas (PAs) to supplement operating expenses so that they can buy equipment, prevent poaching, logging and other illegal activities, monitor species trends and ecosystem health, educate the public, promote tourism and sustainable development, and pay their staff.

CNF works with PAs to improve management practices and with local experts and NGOs to monitor programs and ensure accountability.
